Quite simply, we are the future of traffic management training. Quality, mixed with precision, topped with technology with a splash of charisma. It is our goal to revolutionise the traffic management training space through innovative, engaging and enlightening development of traffic management professionals.

We offer NZTA accredited Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) training workshops as well as personalised practical, theory or short course training packages for individuals, small or large organisations. We are in the business of creating well‐rounded traffic management specialists – from traffic controllers to drivers to TMP designers to auditors. We can coach the true potential out of your team, no matter how big or small.

We are based in Auckland but deliver training NZ Wide, including In-House training at a client venue, contact us for more information regarding this option.

Director / Trainer

Diploma of Highway Engineering and NZTA qualified Trainer with extensive experience with road network management, auditing and coaching.

Andre Dannhauser

NZTA Trainer, B-Tech Traffic Safety Management, Instructor, Police, Motorway Incident Manager.

Adolf Rousseau
Branch Manager & TMP Designer

An Assessor and Facilitator with extensive on road experience as Project Manager, TMC , Site Engineer/Maintenance Manager and TMP Designer with a passion for safety on work sites.

Britte Van Der Merwe
Director / Finance

Focus on Customer Service, Training Co-ordinating and ensure accurate accounting and best practices are maintained. Complete NZ Bachelor in Accounting and work towards CA.

Bridget Chasemore
Training Coordinator & Admin Support

I support the financial and administration side of the business, and ensure that your questions get answered, and training continues smoothly.


Each attendee will receive a Traffic Management Academy USB Stick on successful completion of the course with:

  • all of the course material
  • a copy of CoPTTM
  • resources and section J of CoPTTM to refer back to

Save the trees - that's what we call paperless training.


Each attendee will receive a Traffic Management Academy temporary wallet ID Card on successful completion of the course as proof of their qualification until the NZTA Wallet ID Card and Certificate is received in the post.


All Level 1 NZTA workshops are facilitated using a purpose built e-learning platform – all students are provided full training on the use of the system at the start of the course. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own electronic device to the course (tablet/ipad/laptop) to use during the course.

We will assist the attendee to log into TM Academy local server so they will not require access to the internet when using their own electronic device. Alternatively, attendee/s will be provided with a TM Academy device (Samsung 10.1 Tablet) to use during the course period.
